The Gem City Shawl is an asymmetrical triangle shawl that features a medley of garter stitch, stockinette stitch, eyelet lace, knotted openwork, and two-color waffle check
The shawl is knitted flat, and the asymmetrical shape is achieved by decreasing one stitch at the start of all right-side rows and then also increasing two stitches at the end of the same rows. The pattern sequence is knitted three times with each color being substituted by another color in each subsequent iteration.
The pattern is rated as Advanced Beginner.

Care Guide
- Hand wash by soaking in lukewarm water with a mild detergent
- Let the fabric soak for 15 min, gently squeeze out excess moisture
- Roll fabric between clean dry towels to remove moisture
- Lay flat and shape to air dry
